12 Weeks down, one to go. Only Samantha has clinched her spot in the playoffs (with the top overall seed). Blythe, Megan, Erik, Ryan, Tuesday, and Morgan are all going to fight it out for the final three spots. The ladies are in a pretty good position to take at least 3 of the four spots - and there is probably a tiebreaker scenario where they get all four.

Just look at these power rankings (Jon - don’t look) and break down the remaining teams.

A month ago - Ryan was on top of the world. Now he’s fighting for his fantasy life. Honestly, he only has the Ravens to blame for this. If he misses the playoffs and somehow ends up last - his punishment will be to write and deliver a strongly worded letter to the Ravens to fire Harbaugh.

Blythe has had the opposite trajectory. Two months ago - very much outside looking in. One month ago, fringe. NOW - she almost doubled up Megan and is in line for the second seed. What’s the secret to her success? Part of it is Geno Smith suddenly remembering to throw to Brock Bowers. A little more is Kirk “Kohl’s Cash Me Outside” Cousins handing the ball off to Bijan. Chimere Dike (It’s CHI-ME-RAY DEE-KAY). Who the F is this guy?

Only the 10th best player in fantasy AND the NFL leader in all-purpose yards. YES HE HAS MORE YARDS THAN CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY. It also helps that Bijan is third in all-purpose yards. Blythe is winning on tidal waves of volume - she has to since her QB is either a hair model or JJ McCarthy (who sucks.)

Next up - Megan.

She has been living on the edge since Joe Burrow’s very expensive toe injury. She found Matt Stafford at just the right time. She lives and dies by James Cook, Josh Jacobs, and Amon-Ra St Brown. Jacobs is hurt, the Sun God is too - so it’s been just Deebo Samuel and whatever random Arizona Cardinal she can find. She’s going to need the fantasy gods to intervene - because the combination of Tuten and Rodriguez sounds more like suburban injury lawyers than dudes who will take her to the playoffs.

Erik is playing Julian. Dr. Ju has outscored him the last four weeks - so he won’t be an easy out. You might have peaked with that victory against Samantha…but seriously, you shouldn’t lose this game.

Morgan and Tuesday need chaos. Morgan is facing Megan, who is rostering rookies and old dudes. Morgan has Josh Allen but also a bunch of really bad fantasy matchups. Tuesday is playing Chris, but it’s an odd-numbered week, so that means he won’t crack 90 points…probably closer to 80. All players not named Gibbs are on the trade block if anyone wants to get crazy and go all-in.
