Week 4 Recap
Standings
And just like that, we’ve arrived at the BYE weeks. Injuries, surprise performances, and some definite feelings of “WAIT - JACKSONVILLE IS GOOD?” and “HOW IS CALEB WILLIAMS QB5?”.
I have no effing clue about that, but what I do know is that the ladies are CRUSHING. The dudes…not so much.
And then there is your Commish. In a game to determine the literal worst team in the league, Julian took the W. This performance deserves some special recognition, not just for taking an L with a fully healthy team, but for leaving the W on the bench AFTER TRADING FOR THE PLAYER WHO WOULD HAVE WON THE GAME.
The Commish is awarded 5 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑.

Speaking of injuries - let’s check in on how some teams are handling it.
Joe Burrow
Burrow being out has torpedoed the Bengals - Chase Brown is a nothing-burger and ESPN is asking of Ja’Marr Chase is actually startable. This week Shannon (with Chase) lost a close one to Samantha.

Megan, on the other hand, is completely unfazed. Despite back-to-back weeks from Michael Penix and Geno Smith (with a total of 9 points between them) her team is averaging 123 points the last two weeks.
Seems like the only person taking a hit from this is JB. He’ll be ok though - as long as he remembers to actually roster Kenneth Gainwell.
Malik Nabers
Erik is coping with the loss of his WR1 by replacing him with a kicker and some dude named Malik Washington.
Terry McLaurin
The Commanders WR1 has been unavailable since the beginning of the season. How has Tuesday handled this obvious hole in her roster?
Oh - he’s still rostered
This is the most Tuesday thing ever. But she still dropped 134 points on Jon. With Puka and Adams, she’s basically one functioning player away from steamrolling everyone.
Lamar Jackson
Lamar pulled up with a hamstring during the annual Are the Ravens better than the Chiefs? game. ANSWER: STILL NO.
I would say it contributed to Ryan’s first L - but let’s be real, Morgan (in a TEAM OF THE WEEK performance) was going to win that no matter what.
To patch this, Ryan is turning to - Bo Nix. So…has Bo Nix suddenly become awesome?

No. No he has not. Ryan - say it with me now
IN…COM…PLETE!
Jayden Daniels
I don’t wanna talk about it.
If you blink, you might miss that Samantha is sneaking up the Power and Actual rankings. Pulling a back-to-back is tough, but she’s 4th in Points For, just behind Ryan and not that far from Blythe. She’s second in Points Against (behind Tuesday), so if she survives the BYE weeks…look out.
Schedule Notes
Four teams on a BYE this week:

Sunday Night Football: Patriots - Bills
Monday Night Football: Chiefs - Jaguars
